Haohao Huang is a Chinese-born photographer currently based in the United States and pursuing an MFA in Photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Her practice investigates the tensions between photography’s capacity to document intimacy and identity, and its limitations in capturing their fluid and evolving nature. Through image reconstruction, textiles, and mixed-media installations, Huang pushes the boundaries of the still image to evoke layered memories and emotional complexity. Her work has been exhibited at venues such as BBA Gallery (Berlin) and DefineArt 2025, where one of her pieces was selected as the exhibition’s signature image and featured on the SCAD website. Her work has also appeared in publications including The HAND Magazine. By engaging both image and object, Huang expands the narrative and material possibilities of photography.
